Buying Microsoft Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers [Old Version]

I purchased this product several years ago for about $100 because I was unable to afford the professional version, which would have cost about $300 instead. Although it does not contain quite everything that the professional version does, it has everything a student or teacher needs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. In fact, I've been using those programs extensively (except for Outlook) for the past 8 years, and I have far exceeded in educational value the price I paid. Even with the MS Office 2003 and 2007 having come out since that time, the programs were more than adequate for my purposes, especially since Microsoft offers online updates to where MS Office 2007 files can be opened with the 2002 version reviewed here.
